There is no risk to you! As a contingency based collection agency, you will not be charged collection expenses unless our collection efforts are successful. Additionally, AWA specializes in transportation collections (it is ALL we do!) and has over 20 years of combined experience, knowledge, relationships, tools, and resources that most any trucking company simply does not have when it comes to navigating the transportation collection industry.
AWA operates on a contingency fee basis, meaning, if we cannot collect, you owe us nothing. If collection efforts are successful, our rates will be based on how old and how much the debt is, if there is a damage claim, and whether the debtor is in or out of business.
AWA recommends placing any debts you are currently owed, 60 days or older, to qualify for our lowest collection fees. By placing your debts early on, your chance of recovery is much higher and the collection fees are much cheaper.
If requested, you will have access to our client portal, which provides 24/7 access to important notes and payment details on your accounts placed. Through the client portal, you may also submit additional documents for other problematic invoices you may have.
Nonetheless, our experienced sales representatives will typically reach out to you via email and/or phone every 3-4 weeks regarding the accounts you have placed until we reach resolution.
